At the Auto Expo 2023, Maruti Suzuki introduced the eagerly awaited Jimny. Although Maruti Suzuki has begun taking reservations for the SUV, the company has not yet disclosed its price. The five-door Jimny has received over 23,500 reservations to date, according to the manufacturer.
This time, the Jimny’s highest-spec Alpha model has begun to show up in Indian dealerships. The SUV being displayed is a dual-tone version with a Sizzling Red exterior and a bluish-black top. As can be observed from the photos, the SUV has a five-slot honeycomb mesh grille in the front, an upright, macho bonnet, washer-equipped circular LED headlights, and 15-inch alloy wheels.
In addition to this shade, there are five monotone and one dual-tone Jimny variants available. Granite Grey, Nexa Blue, Bluish Black, Pearl Arctic White, and Sizzling Red make up the monochromatic colour scheme. Kinetic Yellow with a black roof makes up the alternative dual-tone colour scheme.
The 1.5-liter K15B petrol engine that powers the Maruti Suzuki Jimny alone is calibrated to produce 103 horsepower and 134 Nm of torque. A five-speed manual transmission or a four-speed torque converter handles the transmission chores, while the AllGrip Pro 4×4 system distributes power to all four wheels.
