The 1.5L four-cylinder K-series petrol engine with idle start/stop technology will power the Maruti Suzuki Jimny when it goes on sale in India the following month.

The Kinetic Yellow colour, which was first created to help this Jimny stand out in bad weather, will be one of a total of seven paint schemes (five single-tone and two dual-tone). The prototype that you can see here sports the same distinguishing hue. The chassis of the five-door Jimny is a ladder frame.
The India-spec Jimny has greater dimensions and is more capacious than the international three-door Jimny, improving practicality. It has a low-range transfer gear AllGrip Pro 4WD system and a three-link rigid axle suspension layout (4L mode). For decades, the Jimny has been famous across the world for its off-roading abilities.
The distinctive upright body panels, towering pillars, round headlights, clamshell bonnet, and vertical slits in the front grille have all been preserved. A nine-inch Smart Play Pro+ touchscreen infotainment system with HD display, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, Arkamys Audio, and other goodies are abundant inside.
Regarding safety, there will be six airbags, a brake (LSD) limited slip differential, ESP with hill hold help, hill descent control, a reverse parking camera, and ABS with EBD. A 1.5-liter, four-cylinder K-series petrol engine with idle start/stop technology will be responsible for the performance. It is coupled with either a four-speed AT or a five-speed MT that drives all four wheels.
You may instantly switch from 2H two-wheel drive to 4H four-wheel drive using the 4WD transfer case. Its dimensions are 3,985 mm in length, 1,645 mm in width, and 1,720 mm in height, with a 2,590 mm wheelbase and 210 mm of ground clearance. It will compete with the future Mahindra Thar five-door vehicle.
